Payment Information
Payments on ourbody.ca are processed by Square through our Squarespace store. We do not store or have access to your full payment card number. We receive only confirmation of the transaction and limited details such as the last four digits of the card and the billing name.
Square is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your payment information is handled under Square's Privacy Policy.
Email Marketing
If you subscribe, we will send you newsletters, product updates, and promotional content through Squarespace Email Campaigns and Flodesk.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at info@ourbody.ca to be removed from our list.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional emails such as order confirmations and shipping notices.
Our email platforms use tracking pixels to record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. You can prevent this by disabling image loading in your email client.
Shipping and Delivery
To deliver your order, we share your name, shipping address, and contact details with our carriers: Canada Post, UPS, and DHL. Each carrier processes this information under its own privacy policy.
For international shipments, customs authorities in the destination country may require your name, address, and details of the shipment contents.
International Data Transfers
We are located in Canada. Our service providers may store or process your information in the United States or other countries. These jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.
Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers of personal information out of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Order and transaction records: seven years, for tax and accounting purposes
Account information: until you close your account, plus ninety days
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, after which we retain a suppression record so we do not contact you again
Analytics data: as governed by the retention settings of our website platform
Customer service correspondence: two years from the date of last contact

You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
California residents
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email info@ourbody.ca. We will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, and secure hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach affects your personal information and poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed at children under the age of sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@ourbody.ca and we will delete it.
